"I started having arthritic problems with my hips, knees, spine, feet and
hands when I reached age 33. Some of my colleagues as well as friends
recommended my seeing a chiropractor. In July 1989, I injured my shoulder.
For over a month I suffered extreme pain and insomnia. This was the moment

I have been a patient of Dr. Greenstein's since November, 1982. I was 27 years old at that time.
A friend of mine who knew I was having health problems heard about a seminar Dr. Greenstein was giving and his new practice was close to where I lived so we decided to go and see what he had to say. I was very impressed with the fact that he used kinesiology to determine problem areas. I had never heard of this before but thought I would try him to see if he could help me. I made an appointment that day or shortly after to begin treatment.
Since it has been so many years it's hard to remember all the problems I had when I first came to see Dr. Greenstein. I had been a bowler since the age of 6 and the years of bowling had put me in pain from my neck all the way down my right side. I had started having terrible pain in my neck and back and had a painful "lump" in my chest. Earlier visits to a medical doctor diagnosed the lump as Costochondritis, which is an inflammation of the rib cage area. Her treatment was shots of cortisone in my chest area and steroid pills for inflammation. Needless to say, her treatment was not a cure and I continued having symptoms. I also suffered from a lot of allergies and fatigue. I didn't have any children at the time, and was concerned that my body could not withstand the stress of a pregnancy. Through chiropractic care I was able to have three all natural deliveries with no drugs or epidurals.
I initially saw Dr. Greenstein on a three times per week basis. He used kinesiology to determine what muscle weaknesses I had and where they related to the vertebrae in my neck and back. After a few weeks of chiropractic treatment, I was reduced to once a week. He was able to return my neck to full motion, the lump in my chest went away and my back improved. He tested me for food allergies using kinesiology. It's pretty amazing!
I am pain free most of the time. I continue with monthly "maintenance" treatments. Ocassionally, due to the stress at certain periods of the year with my job, I require twice a month visits. I have never returned to the terrible pain I had back in 1982.
I tell others about the wonders of chiropractic. Whenever I am in pain or having a problem, I go to my chiropractor FIRST. When I hear people in my office or friends talking about neck or back problems I always mention my wonderful chiropractor. Unfortunately most still rely on medical doctors to deal with their aches and pains and would rather be given a prescription for muscle relaxants or pain pills instead of dealing with the problem. I would hope that some day this country will understand the value of preventative care instead of crisis care.

Fifteen years ago I was in increasing pain traveling from my right hip all the way down my leg. Walking even a short distance was painful. My muscles were so stiff, I had trouble bending to even tie my shoestrings. My limited motion made even dressing and other activities difficult. I worried about a future struggling with pain and immobility. I learned that a friend who had severe arthritis was greatly helped by Dr. Nate Greenstein. She persuaded me to make an appointment with Dr. Nate. I felt I had nothing to lose, and I was willing to try anything to ease my pain and stiffness. That visit turned my life around. On my first visit, Dr. Greenstein took down my history and x-rayed my spine to learn what he would be working with before he even started any treatment. He ordered orthotics for my shoes and gave me a set of simple exercises to work on at home. At first I required frequent treatments and it wasn't too long before I improved, and my visits became farther apart. Once again I was able to move freely and to resume daily walks. Now at 85 years of age, I am active and comparatively pain-free. When I feel some stiffness settling in, I make an appointment for a tune-up, and I'm up and running again. I have been a patient of Dr. Nate Greenstein for many years. I originally found Dr. Greenstein through the recommendation of a good friend who knew that I was at my wits end because traditional medicine could not find the root cause of the symptoms I was having. I was suffering from debilitating fatigue, loss of muscle strength, abnormal weight gains and weight fluctuations and feeling just so sick all the time. The doctors I had seen were not willing to take the time to help someone with an illness that was out of the ordinary. I really needed someone who could think outside the box. Someone who would take the time to help me discover what was wrong and how best to deal with it. I was looking for someone who would genuinely care about me and my health. I found all of this and more in Dr. Nate.
I had been to other chiropractors before who took their two minutes with you to crack your spine and neck, then they send you off to drape weights over your head. I didn't like my neck being cracked. And they only treated the single complaint and not the whole body.
When I met Dr. Greenstein, I was pleasantly surprised that on every visit he treats the whole body using more than just typical chiropractic methods. There was no neck cracking, just gentle methods of discovery. He uses kinesiology, reflexology and other methods that are outside the box - and these methods work better than anything I have ever experienced.
I recently went hobbling into Dr. Nate's office doubled over with severe pain in my lower back and hips. And it never fails that I walk out of there feeling so much better!!!
Dr. Nate is intelligent, knowledgeable, always learning about the newest techniques available and a very caring person. He really knows and cares about his patients - and I can't say I have any other doctor nowadays that even knows my name without a chart.
He had been a tremendous help to me. ANYTIME I hurt - I know I have a person I can call who can fix things and take away the pain!!
I recommend Dr. Nate all the time to anyone in need of help. I know when I do that they will get the best care that is available. I know they will thank me for it the next time they see me.
